Tandem – Cultural Managers Exchange
We were selected for a great and inspiring meeting in Rotterdam from 26-11-2014 – 30-11-2014
TANDEM–Community & Participation cultural managers exchange. Tandem aims at establishing long-term partnerships between cultural organizations working in the field of community arts, voluntary or amateur arts and (non-formal) arts education. The program focuses on citizens’ inclusion and active participation in local arts & culture and community life. It is for cultural managers from the Netherlands and its neighbouring regions/countries: Germany, Belgium and UK. The program engages participants in an intensive one-year, transnational collaboration process, which includes the realisation of a joint interdisciplinary pilot project that is linked to their cultural expertise and their community.
International monitoring seminar Validation of non-formal and informal learning.
International monitoring seminar Validation of non-formal and informal learning. October 27 and 28 Koln, Germany
By our National Agency Erasmus+ we were invited for the meeting in Koln on validation of outcomes of non-formal and informal learning. An inspiring meeting on a subject that is very high on our agenda. With participants from Germany, Ireland, Finland and the Netherlands we found out that there are beautiful ideas, aproaches and initiatives and a lot of work to be done. We also got the impression that with our approach and concrete ideas we are at least one step ahead of many other organisations.
PICP meeting in Porto
From September 18 – 20 the third meeting of the PICP project in Porto took place.
On the program a prisonvisit, discussions on social bunds, a visit to the “Casa da Musica” and a showcase of community art projects in Porto.
And the winner is…
On Friday September 12 we received the international price of the Dutch “Festival van het leren”. A price supported by Unesco for the best International Project: the PEETA project (Personal Effectiveness and Employability skills Through the Arts) in which we played an important role and for our efforts to keep the arts on the agenda within the prison system.
Good and bad news
Good and bad news, our application for a European project on Serious Gaming has been aproved, but it is not sure yet if there is enough money to realise it.
Nominated for the international prize of the Dutch “Festival van het leren”
